With a downstairs sushi and seafood restaurant, upstairs club and happening bar scene, Catch (shown above) has it all. While the scallop dumplings are not to be missed, be sure to save room for dessert. The cookie basket has chocolate chip brownies and fried oreos! After dinner, head upstairs for late night dancing.
2. Hurricane Club
When you enter this Hawaiian-themed restaurant, you’re instantly transported to a chic tropical club. The dishes—and drinks!—were made for sharing so the Hurricane Club is ideal for a big group. Hit it on Tiki Night (Thursday through Saturday) starting at 11 PM for dance performances, a Tiki Shot Hut and a DJ. Bonus: the lighting is so soft, everyone looks beautiful.
3. 40/40 Club
If you’re looking for a spot to cheer on the Giants or the Jets, 40/40 Club is it. The Jay Z owned restaurant/lounge features stadium seating and numerous VIP areas. Sit out in the main area for a communal atmosphere and a better chance to meet hot sports fans.
4. Tortilla Flats
It’s a New Year’s Eve party every night at Tortilla Flats on the edge of the Meatpacking District. This low-key, oldie but goodie serves up basic Mexican food to help the lethal margaritas go down quick. Expect lots of complimentary shots if your there for a birthday or bachelorette party.
5. FOUR at Yotel
