On Our Radar: Cuban Culinary Tour

One of our resolutions this year is to visit Cuba now that its doors are open to American tourists. On April 20th to 24th, follow Chef Guillermo Pernot from Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar on a five day tour of Cuba sponsored by Insight Cuba, a specialist in people to people travel to Cuba. Travelers will visit paladares, Cuban restaurants set inside chefs’ own homes; historic sights like Cathedral Square, Plaza des Armas, and the City Museum; and Ernest Hemingway’s home, Finca Vigia. We also want to see some jazz and a dinner show with beautiful Cuban dancers.

“Over the past year at Cuba Libre, we’ve been strongly devoted to bringing our guests the authentic Cuban experience through our menus and transportive ambience,” says Chef Pernot.  “Now, we’re finally able to show them the places, taste the foods and meet the people that inspire us.”
