It has been a week since I committed to using the Meaningful Beauty products and living more healthfully a la its co-founder Cindy Crawford as part of the #youthhasnoagechallenge—and I look better and feel better, too!
What I love most about the Meaningful Beauty products is that they are so simple and easy to use. You can even take the color-coded instruction card into the bathroom with you–it’s waterproof! The products are all easy to apply and absorb quickly, so there’s no waiting around to apply the rest of my makeup. My skin feels softer and looks brighter even after only a week of using them!
At first I wasn’t sure about using a separate cream for my chest, but the Meaningful Beauty Skin Brightening Décolleté and Neck Treatment SPF 15 has quickly become one of my favorites. It has a slight touch of sheen so it makes the area look instantly healthier and younger.
The Meaningful Beauty Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules are a rich cream that I used to target my forehead wrinkles and fine lines around my eyes. It made them plumper and had lasting results. I used it once a week, but plan to use it two times in the week coming up.
My favorite item of all is the Meaningful Beauty Skin Softening Cleanser. You can apply it to damp or dry skin-no water required! Plus it gently removes even tough eye makeup.
As for the living more healthfully…it was amazing to take a week to focus on myself! I made an effort to fit in more fresh-pressed juices, eat a little less meat, drink less and eat less sugar. I did allow myself one splurge day and ate a chocolate cupcake on my son’s first birthday. (I mean, if there’s ever a reason to celebrate!) I stuck with my regular workouts and even made it to an aerial yoga class! It was fun to spin around and hang upside down and generally be a goof. It reminded me that working out can feel like playing!
