Beach Vacation Ideas #6: Charleston

Market pavillion hotel

We were hesitant to join our besties on their trip to Charleston this summer partially because it’s so damn hot in the summer; but springtime is another story. You’ve got a great chance of scoring warm weather, you’re near a slew of beaches and you can enjoy one of the countries great girly cities. Charleston has hip boutiques, yummy restaurants, beautiful architecture, and a fun strip of bars to hit late night. We stayed at the Charleston Place Hotel last time which is right in the center of everything; but I thought it was too much of a convention hotel. Next time I’d like to try the Market Pavilion Hotel with its fun rooftop pool and barĀ (yes, we had some cocktails there), and its proximity to the City Market. For each night you stay, you’ll get a $50 hotel credit for the Grill 225 restaurant and Pavilion Bar. Stay Friday and Saturday nights and get $125 worth of credit.
